Cheap Coffee Grinder: To Choosing The Right Type
Do you know a cheap coffee grinder? If you are like me, then you probably use your coffee machine every single day, if not more. However, this does not necessarily mean that you drink an expensive type of coffee.
In fact, in most cases, I rarely drink any type of regular or decaffeinated coffee. I prefer to buy my coffee based on how much I like it. Here are a few tips that I use to find a cheap coffee grinder that I absolutely love!
Before you start shopping around for coffee beans or grinds, there are a few things that you need to consider first. For starters, do you prefer whole bean or ground? Some people prefer to grind their own beans, but for those that prefer whole beans, it would be better if you buy them from a grocery store. With the cheaper budget grinders, however, you really get to enjoy more flavorful and fresh coffee without spending a fortune.
The second thing that you have to take into consideration is the grinder’s lid. There are two types of cheap coffee grinders: those with lids and those without lids. If you want the convenience of a lid, then choose a grinder with a plastic lid.
However, the downside of plastic lids is that they are very easy to break and the beans can easily get lost in the grinding process. On the other hand, if you are going to use beans that need to be ground finer, then go for a burr grinder with a stainless steel mesh interior.
Also, the blades of the grinder come in different shapes and sizes. The two basic types are the round blade and the flat-shaped blades. Most of the time, you will see the round ones with the fine steel mesh inside. This ensures that the beans will be ground uniformly. In contrast, the flat-shaped blades are used for tougher ground like the Italian blends. However, it is important to note that when you are grinding coarse herbs, such as anise seeds, the flat grinder will not work well.
Another thing to consider is the electric เครื่องบดกาแฟ coffee grinder comes in different colors. Black and white are the most common, but if money is a concern, you can opt for other colors as well. The choice will largely depend on the look and feel you want your coffee beans to have. To make the most of your purchase, make sure to purchase the grinder that suits your preference and needs, whether it is black or brown, or even green.
The size of the blades is also something to consider when shopping for a cheap coffee grinder. Usually, you have two choices of blades-the rollerblades and the serrated blade. In choosing your grinder, keep in mind the grinder comes with a small rubber blade guard so you can protect the grinding stones from being damaged during the grinding process.
With this said, there are advantages and disadvantages when using the burr grinder. Compared to the roller and the serrated blades, the burr grinder grinds coffee beans evenly and quickly. It is perfect for those who want to get their job done right in just a short period of time. However, since it only grates six cups at a time, the total number of grinds you need will be bigger than those two previous grinders.
When it comes to safety, the burr grinders are really safe compared to the previous three types. Since burrs are ground by metal mesh, there are lesser chances of getting hit with burrs.
However, if you do not use burrs and only grind the coffee beans, you are still prone to be hurt because you may accidentally chop your hand or burn your finger. So, if you are using a French press, make sure that the model you are using has a safety guard. Otherwise, you can go to the other three types of grinders.
